  • Million in the portfolio: Investments abroad are conducive to results

    The first virtual investment summary of Jan Żuralski’s in the "Million in the Portfolio" ended with a minimal loss. As a result of increased volatility in the market portfolio decreased by -0.4%. The period of correction in the domestic index converted into a weaker results of the individual components, including funds UniAkcje Growth (-8.5%) and Allianz Sub-Fund Energy (-7.8%). The total rate of return supported while the depreciation of the zloty against the dollar occured, thanks to which qualities valued in that currency received higher scores, including Franklin Biotechnology Discovery Fund (+ 10.8%) and Franklin India Fund (+ 7.2%).

    The prices of oil at the NYMEX in New York is increasing resulting with the on going demonstrations of the employees of refineries - brokers point out. The West Texas Intermediate barell of oil for March at NYMEX is priced at 50,46 USD after its 89 cent raise. - If this trend will continue, the prices of fuel at the petrol stations will definitely raise. - said Urszula Cieślak of BM Reflex in an interview for TVN 24 BiS. Brent in deliveries for March on the ICE Futures Europe in London is peaking to 54 cents and 55,29 USD for a barell.
